Village Panigiria – The Heart of Kefalonian Summer
Throughout June, July and August, villages across the island celebrate their patron saints with traditional panigiria (feast festivals).
Expect long tables filled with local food, live Greek music, dancing late into the evening and, most importantly, a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. Visitors are always encouraged to join in, making these evenings one of the most authentic experiences you’ll have on the island.
