There are so many wonderful tavernas and restaurants in all areas of the island, and we encourage our guests to be adventurous and find their own favourites. That being said, we are often asked for recommendations of where to eat out in Kefalonia, so here is a list of some of our own favourites - there are many many more!

In Lakithra and nearby

Little sister to « il Borgo » at Kastro, stunning views, lovely service and Italian inspired cuisine

Closest of the village’s two grill houses, also serves traditional food, will also deliver to the villa and is conveniently situated opposite Antoni’s pastry and ice-cream shop.

Furthest away from the villa but worth the walk or drive, this organic restaurant serves its own produce in a bountiful garden setting.

This coffee shop, and bar is great for snacks or breakfasts involving waffles or pancakes (a favourite with our teenagers and youngsters), they also offer occasional evening entertainment with live Greek bands (follow their social media for what’s going on).

At Kastro

Lovely traditional and not so traditional menu, beautiful views and setting, this is usually our treat for our last evening in Kefalonia.

Popular for its all day breakfast and delicious cakes, this is a lovely spot nestled in its terraced garden for breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon treat.
